Hello, what’s up, guys? In this tutorial, I will show you how to create macOS High Sierra Bootable USB Installer with Unibeast. What you need, is a MacBook Pro/ Air, Or you can use Virtual Machine such as VirtualBox or VMware that run Mac Operating system. For this demonstration, I’m using MacBook Pro, You will also need the following things to do this task.
1. Download UniBeast
2. Download macOS High Sierra
3. Need 16GB USB Flash Drive

Now, open Safari or any other web browser and type tonymacx86.com and click enter.

• Find Download tab and click on it.

• Click on Login or Register at the top-right corner.

Step 1 : Download UniBeast

If you have an account already so just enter the email address with the password and click login. Otherwise, you need to create a new account. Once you’re logged in, scroll down to the bottom of the page and find UniBeast Latest version then click on it. Click on Download Now button. Wait for a while to download this software. Once it’s downloaded drag and drop it to the desktop.

Step 2: Download macOS High Sierra

Open apps store. click on Featured and then macOS High Sierra. Click on Download button. and wait for 10 to 30 Minutes. It depends on your internet speed to download as fast as possible. Once the downloading macOS High Sierra is completed then it goes to Application Folder. You can see it on the Launchpad.

Step 3: Preparing Your USB for Installing macOS High Sierra

Now, connect your USB flash drive to the system Open your USB and copy all your data you need because later on the USB will be erased.
1. Open Spotlight and type Disk Utility and hit Enter.
2. Select your USB thumb drive then click on Erase tab.
3. Type any name for the USB and as a format select macOS Extended Journaled.
4. As scheme select Guide Partition Map then click on Erase button.
5. Once done close Disk Utility.

Open Unibeast and click Open when Window Pops Up.
Click continue for a couple of times and Click Agree.

Select High Sierra then click Continue.

On the Bootloader Configuration page, select your boot mode. Legacy Boot mode is for older BIOS and UEFI Boot mode is for modern and latest BIOS. My system BIOS Support UEFI so I select here UEFI Boot Mode.
On the Graphics Configuration page, set by default but if you use Older ATI graphic card such 4000 then check this option otherwise put it uncheck and If you use Older NVIDIA Geforce graphics cards, such as 200. 400, 610, 630, 8000, and 9000 check Inject INVIDIA. If you use the latest version of the graphic card so you don’t need to check this two options.you’re done click Continue.

Once Click Continue and enter your password and click OK.
Wait at least 8 to 20 Minutes to copy macOS High Siera file into USB Flash drive.
Now,
If you wanna change the config.plist file, copy Kext, theme then click on EFI partition. You don’t need any other application like clover configurator to mount EFI partition. For the first time, it automatically mounted.
Select EFI folder and then Select Clover.

You can replace your own config.plist file here if you want. Also, you can add any Kexts to the Kext folder.
And if you want to change the default theme then you can add your own theme to the Themes folder.
Anyway, once you agree with the changes then eject USB Installer.
It’s time to check whether this USB Installer that we’ve created is working or NO. Let’s check it on a PC or MacBook. I will check it ON a PC. Connect your USB installer to the PC and start your system.
Press F12 for boot menu on Gigabyte motherboard. Select USB Installer from the Boot menu and press enter. As you can see here it’s booting pretty cool and working fine. I’m not going so deep because in our next blog I will show you how to build a Hackintosh PC.

DMG file is a compressed file format being used widely on Mac computer. Windows OS doesn't natively support DMG disk image files, so if you need to create a bootable USB drive from a DMG file, mostly for bootable Mac OS X or macOS installation USB, you need a special utility to help you complete the task.

There is also the possibility of converting the file into a format more suitable for Windows, which is the ISO file format for disk images. Considering the above, let's look at different ways to create a bootable drive from a DMG file on a Windows computer.

Part 1: Convert DMG to ISO and Make Bootable USB from ISO

Since Windows doesn't offer native support for DMG files, you can first convert the file to ISO. Why? A lot of easier to find an app for making a bootable USB from ISO file. The easy way to do this is to use Command Prompt. Don't be intimidated by the non-GUI environment even if you don't have any experience. If you follow the steps below, you can convert any DMG file to ISO and then create a bootable USB using the converted file.

Step 1: Open Command Prompt by typing cmd in the Run windows and hitting Enter.

Step 2: In the command interface, go to the directory in which the DMG file is saved. You can do this by using the 'cd' command followed by the file path, then pressing Enter. For example, if your disk image is in D: and Command Prompt is currently in 'C:', then type 'd:' (no quotes) and press Enter. If it is in a subfolder, type 'cd subfolder', and so on.

Part 2: Create Mac OS X Bootable USB Installer from DMG

Step 1 Install DMG Editor

Download and install DMG Editor on your Windows PC.

Step 2 Plug in USB Drive

Part 3: Create Bootable USB from DMG in Windows Via PowerISO

Another well-known disk image utility is PowerISO. Apart from being ideal for burning ISO files, it can also burn a DMG file to USB to create a bootable drive. There are some settings that you have to keep in mind when burning with this software, but it's easy to get the hang of it once you do it a couple of times.

Step 1: Download PowerISO and install it in your Windows PC. Launch the app and insert a USB drive into a free USB slot in your computer.

Step 2: You can import the DMG file directly by clicking on ‘Burn' in the toolbar or going to Tools >Burn. In the Burn window, select the DMG file from the Source File section.

Step 3:Now review the settings to select the burn speed. The default will be the maximum your hardware can handle, so you can reduce that. You can also choose to finalize the disk and verify it. Finalizing means you can't save any more files on the drive, but it primarily applies to DVDs and CDs. Choosing ‘Verify' will prompt the software to execute an additional process after the burning is done. Any errors in the bootable USB will show up at that point.

Step 4: Now click on 'Burn' and wait for the progress bar to reach 100%. Your bootable USB is now ready.
