SCH is my main and by far favorite class to play. The skill payoff is huge and once you are comfortable on a controller you can execute some pretty complicated stuff that would have a keyboard user drooling.

Crossbars

I am not good at changing cross-bars with the right bumper. Everyone has their flaws. So I created macros to help me with pet actions and swapping bars. The idea is to have nearly identical cross-bars for set 8 but with different pet abilities depending on which fairy was summoned. Unfortunately, the “/chotbar set” command doesn’t work with pet actions yet, so I had to get creative with it. I use the “/chotbar copy” command to copy 6 or 7 to 8 depending on the fairy summoned.

Set 1 - Healer Bar

Set 1 is my default cross-bar that I use 95% of the time.
On the left side, I have Surecast, Aetherflow, Leeches, Eye for an Eye, Succor, Lustrate, Adloquium, and Physick. Nothing special here. I don’t really use Surecast all that often and it can probably be replaced by something else. All of my main heals are on LT + ABXY because that seems to feel the most comfortable for me.
On the right side, I have Sacred Soil, Energy Drain, a marking macro, Stone Skin, Miasma II, a Cleric Stance Macro, Swiftcast, and Ruin II. I’ll explain the Cleric Stance Macro in a moment, but for the most part the right side is used for my less-used skills. Miasma II and Ruin are there for their secondary effects (Heavy, Diseas, and Blind). Swiftcast is there because it allows me to cast all my main spells easily while moving.

Macros on Set 1

This is just useful during some fights for marking stuff. For example, the bomb phases of Titan.4

This turns on Cleric Stance and switches to Set 3.

Set 2 - I shouldn't have to use this bar very often bar

This set only contains stuff I use after a wipe typically or very rarely. I hesitated even mentioning it but I knew someone would probably ask me how I do my initial fairy selection. I just press RB + B to get to this one...nothing fancy.

Set 3 - Offensive Bar

Set 3 is my offensive cross-bar.

On the left side, I have Bane, Aetherflow, Leeches, Swiftcast, Ruin II, Lustrate, Miasma II, and Ruin. This let’s me keep the ability to pop some heals with Lustrate and remove debuffs with Leeches, but gives me access to more offensive abilities for when healing is light.

On the right side, I have Sacred Soil, Energy Drain, Shadow Flare, Stone Skin, Miasma, my “Remove Cleric Stance” Macro, Bio, and Bio II. This keeps my ability to cast Sacred Soil and Stone Skin to help keep the party safe while I lay down some DoTs.

Macros in Set 3

This removes Cleric Stance and returns you to Set 1.
Note: There is a delay after turning on Cleric Stance before you can turn it off. If you use this macro too quickly after using the “To Cleric Stance” macro, you will end up in Set 1 with Cleric Stance still on. :( Just hit “To Cleric Stance” again and hit RB + Y to fix.

Set 6 - My Eos Bar

Set 6 is my LT + RT and RT + LT crossbar when Eos is out.

On the left side, I have Sustain, my “Summon Selene” macro, Sic, my “Swift Ressurection” macro, Obey, Sprint, Heel, and Place. Heel and Place are so useful as a SCH during fights where pet placement is important.

On the right side I have Virus, Rouse, Eye for an Eye, my “Eos Ultimate” Macro, and Eos’ four abilities.

Macros for Set 6

Summons Selene quickly, then copies Set 6 to Set 8 for use with LT + RT and RT + LT

Casts Rouse, Fey Illumination, and Whispering Dawn. The “Stay” portion of it is to interrupt your pet’s Embrace action.

Set 7

Set 7 is my LT + RT and RT + LT crossbar when Selene is out is out. It’s identical to set 6 except I have a “Summon Eos” macro and Selene doesn’t really have a super macro like Eos does. So I just kind of threw Shadow Flare in there. The only macro I have for her is for her silence.

Set 7 Macros

Interrupts “Embrace” and *reliably* casts silence on your focus target or target.

Summons Eos quickly, then copies Set 7 to Set 8 for use with LT + RT and RT + LT.
