Do you run Auras like Hatred/Anger/Wrath? I think those are affected by Minion Damage gem, making it better.

pretty sure added fire is better if you already have a lot of minion nodes since it's a multiplier. if you have no +% minion damage then the minion damage gem is better

Let's say:
A = sum of your increased damage from tree, gear and gems, excluding minion damage.
B = your minion damage gem %, 92 at lvl 20/20
C = your added fire %; 39 at lvl 20
if 100 * (B / A) < C, then added fire is better.
We should also include the quality bonus from added fire but this complicates calculation. The above estimation should be quite accurate.
And as CantripN says, if you use damage auras, chances are Minion damage will be better.

quote from ghazzy: 'Minion damage IS better than Added fire, However, since we need a gem to swap for melee splash, we need a red gem, and thus Added fire fits better'
In short, gem priority:
On the 4link:
SRS - Spell echo - Multistrike - Melee splash (which melee phys on switch for bosses)
on the 5link:
SRS - Spell echo - Multistrike - Melee physical - Melee splash (with Added fire on switchout)
on the 6link:
SRS - Spell echo - Multistrike - Melee physical - Melee splash (with added fire on switch) - Empower (lvl 3 Only i believe) or minion damage.
For zombies, just swap Spell echo for faster attacks.

Is this build for you?
1. If you are looking for an actual Soulwrest build that can be played in the end-game!
2. A build that is keeping a high quality despite having a very low budget.
3. Insanely high clear speed for a summoner build.
4. A build with a high budget version allowing you to literally deal with ALL content in the game.
5. If you prefer a build guide that has a video linked to it.
__________________________________________________________________________
Build Enabling Items:
This build is designed around the unique staff Soulwrest so that's obviously the most important piece. However, the other options depend on how you'd like to play the build. If you're aiming to play the way I prefer it to then the other build enabling items would be these:
Vis Mortis
Bones of Ullr (or any rare boots granting + lvl of spectres)
__________________________________________________________________________
Defence & Utility
With the use of a Quartz Flask you're provided with Phasing, that combined with high speed allows you to run through enemies whilst your massive army of minions clears everything in a heartbeat!
Utility wise this build offers a lot of options that you can decide on yourself depending on your personal playstyle preference. I personally prefer to utilize melee skellies with the build allowing for the enhanced single target approach which I felt the spectres/phantasms didn't provide enough power for.
Rampage:
WE are recieving this buff via; Bisco's Leash however, as of patch 2.2 we are no longer recieving any bonuses to our minions, however the insane effects it grants increases our clear speed significantly. On top of this it also grants us movement speed which is highly appreciated for this build.
__________________________________________________________________________
Pantheon Choices:
Pantheon List
Major God:
- Soul of Lunaris
Basically just helps with avoiding some projectile damage
Minor God:
- Soul of Ryslatha
Basically just an additional layer of defence when you're on low life.
__________________________________________________________________________
Skill-gems & Setups:
Phantasms in Soulwrest:
- Phantasm on Kill, Feeding Frenzy, Minion Damage, Controlled Destruction,Greater Multiple Projectiles, Faster Projectiles
Note:
First of, you don't need this item 6L it's enough there are 6 sockets. We are using the Phantasm on kill support as it allows us to get 20 instead of 10 phantasms.
We are using Feeding Frenzy over Spell Echo as it is simply not working for them, and this buffs the rest of our minions vastly as well.
Faster Projectile can be changed for Slower Projectile for higher damage output but will significantly hurt clear speed.
Melee Skellies:
- Summon Skeletons, Minion Damage, Melee Splash, Melee Physical,Faster Attacks, Ruthless
Also note that if you hit 4R2B you can switch Faster Attacks for Multistrike!
Switch Melee Splash for Added Fire vs single target (or the next gem in order of efficiency if you don't have a 6L)
NOTE ABOUT VAAL SUMMON SKELETON:
It can absolutely be used to give you a significant damage increase to killing bosses, but has very little use outside of that aspect.

-----------------------------
Spectres, Solar Guards:
- Raise Spectre, Minion Damage, Spell Echo, Elemental Focus
Solar Guard they can be found in these areas:
[58] The Battlefront
[59] The Solaris Temple Level 1
[59] The Solaris Temple Level 2
[60] Harbour Bridge
An optimal helmet for this build would be an Elder helmet with as many of these mods as possible:
Minion DMG > Conc effect > 30% More Elemental DMG allowing for 5,6 or even 7 linked spectres in your helmet! Do keep in mind that getting your spectre gem up to level 25 is very big as you gain an additional spectre, this can be achieved through a variety of ways such as: level of all minion gems rolled modifier on a convoking wand, level of intelligence gems on amulet, + level of SOCKETED gems on your elder helmet.
Utility:
- Flesh Offering, Increased Duration, Spell Cascade, Desecrate
Utility:
- Convocation
Aura:
- Hatred
Mobility:
- Flame Dash
Defence:
- CWDT, Immortal Call
Note:
I usually don't lvl the CWDT higher than 3, which means you can't have Immortal Call higher than 5. Obviously these lvls comes down to a matter of personal taste.
EE:
- Orb of Storms
__________________________________________________________________________
Skill-tree & Ascendancy Nodes:
Ascendancy Nodes:
You start with Mistress of Sacrifice, then you grab Mindless Agression to get to Unnatural Strength. Once these are done you can either go with Commander of Darkness, Essence Glutton or Bone Barrier. It's up to you!
Leveling skill-tree, 34 points
Leveling skill-tree, 78 points
Finished skill-tree
Notes:
Once the skill-tree is finished, just focus 100% on more jewel slots.
__________________________________________________________________________
Leveling Tips:
Use Freezing Pulse till you hit lvl 8 where you get yourself Melee Splash, remember to pick up SRS after 'Breaking Some Eggs' quest in Mud Flats and if you lack Strength to use the Melee Splash gem, simply equip yourself with a Heavy Belt or any strength providing item.
Once you've reached lvl 20 you can equip a Brightbeak to use together with Faster Attacks linked to Leap Slam or Shield Charge to speed through the content.
Simply use any +1 or +2 minion gem helmet before you feel comfortable switching over to skelly summoner which I'd recommend doing when you get 5L or 6L setup for your skellies.
The Baron it carries you well in to the Soulwrest switch at lvl 62 with the links 'SRS - Minion DMG - Melee Splash - Melee Physical' as you are lvling the build, AND it's equippable from lvl 26!
Bandits:
- Kill them all, they give nothing of proper value for you.
__________________________________________________________________________
Gearing & Stat Priorities
What base items to use:
The base items of this build really doesn't matter as we don't care about the base defensive stats such as armour(str), evasion(dex) or energy shield(int). So instead the base items will follow the stat priority listed in this guide.
However, the attribute requirement of the items will base how hard it is to chrome (color) which will be the only thing we will think about when planing our gearing.
So, if you need 4 blue sockets in an item the recommendation is to get an item that has Energy Shield (int) base or a hybrid base which includes Energy Shield (int).
By using this chrome calculating website: https://siveran.github.io/calc.html you can easily track how hard it will be to chrome the colors you need. This YouTube playlist can help a lot for new players and also includes a few tricks when coloring items with the 'wrong attribute requirements' for your build: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuu-MdPs0Af8A4e3gSsJ1xDKNNcdFwY1r
Defensive Stats:
1. Life
2. ES
3. Resistances
4. Dexterity
Offensive Stats:
1. Minion Damage
Jewels:
1. Flat Life
1. %minion dmg when you've used a minion skill recently
2. % Life
3. Other minion dmg related mods
Keep in mind that as a melee skelly approach you're gonna want to use 1x From Dust Jewel!
Also keep in mind that if you're going with spectres you're gonna want to use 1 Unending Hunger
Flasks:
1x Seething Divine Life Flask of w/e suffix
1x w/e prefix Eternal Life Flask of Staunching
1x w/e prefix Quartz Flask of Adrenaline
1x Rumi's Concoction Granite Flask
1x w/e prefix Quicksilver flask of Heat

NOTE:
Soulwrest went from being VERY cheap to being VERY expensive, with that said. This build still works very well as a beginner friendly, but it is not a league-starter in the terms of you being able to easily have all your gear sorted within the first 24h.
This build was originally designed from my 'Lich Queen' build which is an extremely popular league-starter & beginner friendly build. You simply play Soulwrest as a Lich Queen, which means you don't use Soulwrest till you can equip it. That's it.

Looks like fun. Any thoughts regarding linking blood magic in the Elder helm to run one carnage chieftain for frenzy charges?

It's a nice addition / approach however, seeing as in deep delves or t15/16 maps there are situations where the Phantasms doesn't always survive very well in which cases the spectres are your 'back-up' if you will. All in all, it's a matter of personal taste of how you'd prefer to run the build.
This build offers A LOT of free choices that won't impact its efficiency that much.

Hey!
In the guide there is a lvling skill-tree progression listed? First one being HERE which shows how you start the tree out and grabs the minion dmg and life nodes before heading out to the left side to chase more life & minion dmg nodes.
Below that skilltree is the second one in the guide which will show you an aprox of how your tree should look like at the little higher levels and then finishing with the finished tree.
What is important to understand with skill-tree progression in PoE is that the better gear you have the less eHP/defence you need from the tree (at least in general) which means you can prio take dmg nodes over defensive ones. Whilst having bad gear in terms of eHP / resistances will force you to prio those defensive nodes first. With this in mind, it is impossible to make a template saying 'hey take this node when you hit lvl 5, this one at lvl 6' etc etc which is why my guides are including 'tree examples' such as the one I linked here in this response which is the first one in the guide saying:
'32 points skill-tree' so 32 points in which is I think around lvl 25...? (You get skillpoints from quests as well) This serves as a template that you can view and see so that your tree should look something like that when you've invested 32 points to the tree.
I hope my answer helped!

Hey Ghazzy, great build!
Thanks for writing this guide, my first time playing necro and already loving it.
I have one question, which red gem can I put into the staff while I can't get another green socket?
Also, which utility flask do you recommend for defense to replace one life flask?
Not sure if armor or evasion will work fine with this.
Thank you!

Minion dmg vs spell echo in spanish

Minion Dmg Vs Spell Echo Download

I would assume (Minion damage - GMP - Void Manipulation - Spell Echo - Controlled Destruction - Added Chaos) would be best if it's attacks are considered spells, otherwise replace CD and Echo with Melee Phys and Multistrike. EDIT - The new Vicious Projectiles would be better than added chaos too. Dec 01, 2016  Path of Exile is a free online-only action RPG under development by Grinding Gear Games in New Zealand. Necronomicon / Raise Spectre Monster Info. The Unofficial Minion Wiki '.eater + slower proj + minion dmg + fasterproj/poison + elemental focus + Controlled Dest ' My current link setup: RS - Minion Damage - Poison - Spell Echo. Spell Echo only works for spells cast by an actual player or minion; it has no effect when supporting totems, traps, mines, or trigger gems. Skills of any kind that use a trigger will not work with spell echo, including triggered minions. Mind that Spell Echo only works when used with spells. Did shaper over 100 times this league and tested all possible set up around flame golems, the best linking for gems is +1 skin of loyal with minion dmg, spell echo, controlled destruction, GMP, and fire pen. Empower is not good even with +2 lvl of skills. Jun 05, 2018 SRS - minion dmg - melee phys - melee splash - spell echo are 5 not 6. And nowadays you dont need spell echo anymore, its kinda simple to reach max stacks without it. Ruthless or minion speed probably far better for clearing or elemental focus and WED for single target. And I played Srs last league. Minion Damage Support Support, Minion Icon: d Mana Multiplier: 130% Requires Level 8 Supports skills which create Minions.
